TEXAS COUNTRY KENNELS

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Texas Country Kennels.  We began our journey with the Boxer breed 7 years ago. We were looking for the perfect family pet that would also be the right dog to have around our grandchildren. After lots of reading and research we settled on a boxer. We brought Lucy home on Valentine's Day 2002, that was the start of our love of boxers.

Over the next couple of years 2 more boxers joined our family, that was before we were bitten by the "show bug". That began our quest for a "Show Puppy". It was hard to break into the show world so we decided to start with a smaller breed. That is when we met our first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. With eyes that melt your heart and a personality to match, we fell in love with the Cavalier.

These two breeds work very well together, as the boxer believes he is also a lap dog.

As our family of pets and show dogs grew we found it necessary to have a safe, comfortable place for them when we were away from home, that is when we decided to add a place to board other family pets. Our kennel was designed to make your pets feel as if they were at home. We are located in the country, so no busy streets, just peace and quiet. The best part is, we live on the property, so someone is here 7 days a week. Our goal is to provide you and your pets with the absolute, most positive, boarding experience. Knowing that your pets are happy and well taken care of, insures that leaving them will be easier, which makes your time away from home more enjoyable.
